| Highlights
Some of the noteworthy bands with whom Kathy has toured:
Chuck McDermott & Wheatshaw
Original country band, toured regionally, and recorded an album
called "Follow the Music"- The amazing quitarist Rocky Stone was
both a band member and played on the album. (Rocky later joined
up with Mickey Gilley and worked with him for 18 years.)
Heavy Juice
Original blues band fronted by tenor sax man,
Greg Piccolo (who also fronted Roomful of Blues).
Girls Night Out
A very popular Boston-area band in the mid-'80's
whose repertoire consisted of mostly Motown and originals. A full-length video and EP ensued. The band opened for many artists including Martha Reeves, Ronnie Spector, Kendricks & Ruffin, Peter Noone, Eric Burden, The Guess Who, 'til tuesday, The Cruzados, Ricky Nelson, Otis Day, and The Outlaws. One of the songs from the EP is on the soundtrack to "Reform School Girls." http://www.geocities.com/nemsbook/g/gno.htm
John Lincoln Wright
Original country and western swing. Kathy did three albums/CDs with him, "You Can't Get There from Here," "That Old Mill," and "Honky Tonk Verite."
Bill Harley
Grammy-winning singer/songwriter noted for his humor & appeal to children. In 1992, during the time Kathy performed with him, A & M Records released the CD "Big, Big World" along
with a video that featured Harley's songs cleverly inter-woven into a story-book style plot. The music video was taped before a live audience on Baltimore Public TV. http://www.billharley.com
